James is an adorable, sweet and loving boy! This 10 year old, 37 pound boy does not realize his family is not coming back for him. He is just loving life and making the most of every minute. His family left him at the shelter (through no fault of his own) on March 22nd. They said he is good with kids. James is very treat motivated so if you want to train him to do any special tricks it should be easy! James may be 10 years old but he still acts like a young guy and he has many more years to be happy! Please come see him soon. Unfortunately James has tested positive for heartworms and will need to be treated. James is up to date with shots and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He will need to be treated for heartworms and neutered at your vet. James is in Run 811 and his ID is 582944.When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
