Sheriff Nehls has a new member of the family, Archer the dog! As you may have heard, Archer was rescued from neck high water, and it turns out she had fleas and was not on heartworm preventative. Archer has tested positive for heartworms, and Dr. Cara Longshore with Cinco Ranch Veterinary hospital says it is a long road, 9 months, until she will be in the clear. Steven Hibler of Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital has donated their services to sweet Archer.P.S. Archer got a special treat…a visit from her buddy Phil Archer from KPRC, who pulled her out of the water that day and set her on her way to a better life.
