This is the second video of three that I filmed of a dog necropsy.

While the images are graphic to some, I merely intend for this video to be educational and interesting.

The findings are pretty interesting. This dog has most of it’s abdominal organs herniated into it’s thoracic cavity. In short: it’s guts were up where its lung should be. Additionally, the dog had heartworms. These conditions were unknown and the dog passed away due to respiratory complications during a routine spay.

This is not meant to be a complete process. I won’t be opening bowel, doing any brain removal, etc. I’m just showing the general method of en bloc organ removal and some organ system separation.
