Tucker was rescued from the shelter at the last minute. Not only is he a black, heartworm positive dog, but his gooey, crusty eyes were a bit unsightly so most people wouldn’t give him a second glance or even consider taking on a “project” like Tucker, But Ryan Schulze saw a diamond in the ruff and saved him!Tucker not only needed entropion eye surgery, but he is heartworm positive. He was taken from the shelter directly to the vet where he was treated for an Upper Respiratory Infection, hookworms, whipworms and anemia until he was healthy enough for surgery and first heartworm injection which was finally completed 3/12!
As you can see, he is such a happy boy that only want to give kisses and be close to people. The balance for his “tune up” is 1.77 remaining with Fort Meade Animal Clinic.
