This is the first video of three that I filmed of a dog necropsy.

While the images are graphic to some, I merely intend for this video to be educational and interesting.

The findings are pretty interesting. This dog has most of it’s abdominal organs herniated into it’s thoracic cavity. In short: it’s guts were up where its lung should be. Additionally, the dog had heartworms. These conditions were unknown and the dog passed away due to respiratory complications during a routine spay.

There are two more videos, but this one will take you through the process of “plucking” the organs from the animal.
